MASS MOVEMENT ASSISTANT: DARRAGH O’LEARY

Working alongside Steve Boyd as head of Mass Movement Choreography, I was one member of a 29 person Mass Choreography Team. This team worked side-by-side with three creative teams to craft the creative team’s artistic visions into teachable concepts that meshed with all departments of the production. The Mass Choreography Team also taught show blocking to the cast of 16,000 during five months of rehearsals run concurrently at three venues to help create four unforgettable ceremonies; the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
