In 2010, I directed and co-wrote The Bowlly Years - Megaphone to Microphone which sold out at the Jermyn Street Theatre and the Union Theatre. The Bowlly Years tells the story of Al Bowlly, Britain’s first pop icon, who was a pioneer of the dance band singer with his swooning a crooning charm.
“The Bowlly Years is a musical and theatrical gem.....the perfect combination of wonderful music, a talented and versatile singer-actor, good writing and intelligent direction.” (Broadway and West End Producer Beth Trachtenberg)
